Cultivating Leadership Training Series: Module 6
Managing External Communications
Welcome to Module 6 of our Cultivating Leadership Training Series. During this module we will discuss how to manage your organization's external communications.
Module 6 will help breed organizations understand why effective communication is such a vital function for the success of the organization. This first module of a two-part series covering communications will help breed organizations become familiar with key external audiences and the best ways to communicate with them. External communication strategies are key for the recruitment of new members, donors, supporters, and reaching the general public. The module will also address common communication-related issues that breed organizations experience and how to mitigate them. The Cultivating Leadership Initiative helps breed associations, clubs, and registries establish and achieve high standards of operation for longevity and continued success. Thriving organizations save more livestock and poultry. The Cultivating Leadership Training Series also aligns with general best practices and is especially beneficial to officers and leaders of breed associations and clubs.
